RBI Grade B Admit Card 2026: Phase 1 & Phase 2 Download Links

The Reserve Bank of India has released admit cards for both phases of the Grade B (DR) 2026 recruitment cycle.

Phase 1

• Released on 5 June 2026 for General, DEPR, and DSIM streams.
• Exam held on 13 June 2026 (General) and 14 June 2026 (DEPR/DSIM).

Phase 2 (Mains)

• Released on 15 July 2026.
• Exam scheduled for 25 July 2026 (General stream) and 26 July 2026 (DEPR/DSIM streams).

How to Download

1. Visit the official RBI recruitment portal and go to the “Opportunities @ RBI” section.
2. Click on “Current Vacancies,” then “Call Letters.”
3. Enter your registration/roll number and password/date of birth along with the captcha.
4. Download and save the admit card; take at least two printouts.

Documents to Carry

Printed admit card, valid photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport), passport-size photograph, and a ballpoint pen. Entry is not permitted without the admit card.

About the Selection Process

The RBI Grade B (DR) recruitment for General, DEPR, and DSIM cadres is conducted in multiple stages. Phase 1 is an objective-type screening exam, while Phase 2 (Mains) includes both objective and descriptive papers designed to test deeper subject knowledge relevant to the specific cadre. Candidates who qualify both phases are then called for a Personal Interview, which forms the final stage before the overall merit list is prepared. Candidates are advised to cross-check every printed detail — particularly their name, photograph, and exam centre — as soon as the admit card is downloaded, and to contact the bank promptly through official channels if any discrepancy is noticed, well before the exam date.

Phase 2 Preparation Focus

Since the Mains examination includes descriptive-type papers in addition to objective questions, candidates preparing for Phase 2 are advised to practice structured, well-organised answer writing within a strict time limit, rather than focusing solely on factual recall. For the General cadre, this typically means building strong analytical writing skills around economic and financial topics, while DEPR and DSIM candidates are expected to demonstrate deeper technical and statistical understanding relevant to their specific discipline. Given the short gap between the two Mains exam days for different streams, candidates appearing for back-to-back papers are advised to plan their revision schedule so that core concepts for both papers are refreshed without last-minute overlap or fatigue.
