Educational Qualification & Language Proficiency

  • Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification. Preference is given to candidates holding degrees in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics, or Accountancy.
  • Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must possess proficiency in the official local language of the state/UT in which the participating RRB is located.
  • Computer Skills: Desirable working knowledge of Computer Applications.

Age Limit (As on June 01, 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 30 Years
  • Candidates must have been born not earlier than June 02, 1996, and not later than June 01, 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Upper age relaxations apply for reserved categories:

  • SC / ST: 5 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
  • PwBD: 10 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Period of service in defense forces plus 3 years (up to a maximum age of 50 years).

Selection Process

  1. Phase 1: Preliminary Examination (Online): Objective exam comprising Reasoning (40 questions, 40 marks) and Quantitative Aptitude (40 questions, 40 marks) for a total of 80 marks with a composite duration of 45 minutes.
  2. Phase 2: Main Examination (Online): Objective paper consisting of 200 questions carrying 200 marks in total across Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Quantitative Aptitude over a duration of 120 minutes. A penalty of 0.25 marks applies for each incorrect response.
  3. Phase 3: Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates appearing in the Main examination are called for a personal interview carrying 100 marks. The combined final merit is calculated using a 80:20 weightage ratio between the Main Examination and the Interview.
  4. Document Verification & Provisional Allotment: Final verification of candidate credentials, caste/category certificates, and local language proficiency followed by merit allocation to participating Regional Rural Banks.

  3. Select “Click here to Apply Online for Officer Scale-I”.
  4. Click on “Click here for New Registration” and enter basic details such as name, contact number, and email ID to generate a Registration Number and Password.
  5. Log in using the generated credentials and fill out personal details, academic background, and bank preferences.
  6. Upload scanned images of your passport photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and live photograph capture.
  7. Pay the applicable application fee online via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
  8. Review all entries carefully before submitting and retain a printed copy of the application form and fee payment receipt.
