Nationality & Eligibility Norms
Applicants must be Indian citizens, or fall under specific categories recognised by the Government of India, such as subjects of Nepal or Bhutan, Tibetan refugees who settled in India before January 1962, or persons of Indian origin who migrated from select countries with the intention of permanently settling in India. Candidates from these latter categories must possess a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India. Age relaxations are available for reserved categories — five years for SC/ST candidates, three years for OBC (non-creamy layer), ten years for persons with benchmark disabilities, and five years for eligible ex-servicemen, subject to production of the relevant certificates at the interview stage.
Application Fee & Payment
Candidates need to pay a non-refundable application fee online through debit/credit card, net banking, or UPI. Once the transaction is complete, an e-receipt is generated, and its absence indicates the payment did not go through, in which case candidates are advised to log back in with their provisional registration details and repeat the payment process rather than assuming the fee has been deducted.
Document Requirements at Interview
Shortlisted candidates must carry, in original along with self-attested photocopies, their call letter, system-generated application printout, proof of date of birth, photo identity proof, mark sheets and degree certificates, and category-specific certificates (caste certificate, EWS income and asset certificate, or disability certificate, as applicable) in the prescribed government format. Experience certificates relevant to the credit officer role must also be produced, since the eligibility criteria require candidates to have worked in credit-related functions for a minimum specified duration depending on the scale applied for.
Security Deposit
Selected candidates are required to furnish a security deposit at the time of joining, which is refundable after three years of satisfactory service; the amount is forfeited if the candidate leaves the bank before completing this period.
Fraud Advisory
The bank has clarified that all official communication — including call letters, interview schedules, and results — will be published only on its own website, and candidates are cautioned against responding to unofficial sources or intermediaries claiming to guarantee selection or employment.
