Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Bank Medical Officer (BMO-II) post must have:

• An MBBS degree from a recognised university/college approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
• Candidates having a Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS or equivalent) will be preferred.

Experience Required

• Candidates with an MBBS qualification must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Practitioner after registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council.
• Candidates with a postgraduate qualification must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a General Practitioner.
• Internship experience will not be counted for eligibility.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for candidates applying for the BMO-II post is 35 years as on 31 May 2026. Age relaxation will be applicable as per the Government of India guidelines.
