RBI Grade B Phase 1 Admit Card 2026 OUT Soon – Exam on June 13–14

For every candidate who applied for the RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2026, tomorrow June 3, 2026  is the day the Phase 1 Admit Card is expected to go live on the official RBI recruitment portal at opportunities rbi.org.in. The Phase 1 examination is scheduled for June 13, 2026 for General stream candidates and June 14, 2026 for DEPR and DSIM stream candidates. With the exam just 11 days away, the admit card release is imminent  and candidates must be ready to download it the moment the link goes live.

This year’s RBI Grade B recruitment is the most competitive in the history of this examination. According to verified data from the official application portal, approximately 62,000 candidates submitted applications for just 60 vacancies  a competition ratio of 1:1033. That means more than 1,000 candidates are fighting for every single seat. Phase 1 is the first filter in this intense selection process, and only those who clear it will move on to Phase 2 and the Interview.

Revised Salary — Important Correction

Many websites are still quoting outdated salary figures. The verified and updated gross salary for RBI Grade B officers is:

This is the revised figure as per the latest official RBI Grade B 2026 notification. The gross salary has been increased from the previous figure of Rs. 1,50,000 per month.

  • General Awareness carries 80 marks, the highest section. This is where the exam is won or lost. Cover all RBI policies, monetary policy decisions, banking reforms, key government schemes, Union Budget 2026, and current affairs from January to June 2026
  • Reasoning carries 60 marks, practice puzzles, seating arrangements, and blood relations daily under timed conditions
  • Quantitative Aptitude  Data Interpretation sets should be the primary focus
  • English Language  reading comprehension and sentence correction are the most common question types
  • Negative marking applies  0.25 marks deducted per wrong answer. Accuracy is more important than attempting all questions
